My Earth Dream is an initiative by the Honda Racing F1 team to unite people who wish to make a difference. For this project the Honda Formula One car will be stripped of all corporate colours/logos and sport a gorgeous paint job showcasing our planet Earth. Honda is hoping to use the global reach of Formula One to raise awareness (and money) for environmental issues facing our planet . The site asks you to make a pledge (for free or small donation) to change something about your life that will help the environment. After you make your pledge your name will appear on the digital car as well as on the real F1 car as a tiny part of the artwork. At the time of this post the number one global pledge made was to "recycle all my paper" followed by "cycle or walk to work". You can view pledges by country to see what the people around you are doing. Take a good look and at the site and please stay true to whatever pledge you make. I am leaving the car at home and taking the subway to work and installing energy saving light bulbs in my house as well as a few others.
