When creating the post for Knog I was reminded of an illustrator I like by the name of Kurt Halsey who's visual style does a great job at building a strong emotional connection to the characters in his artwork. Similar to Knog's visual style, Kurt likes to often use images teamed with words allowing him to create a much deeper story with just one illustration. The majority of his work follows two main characters through their relationship ups and downs and tells the story of their breakups and makeups. While Kurt's visual style may change slightly from piece to piece, the the emotional tie to each remains constant through out his entire body of work.

Doing a quick Google search for 'Kurt Halsey' reveals that he has a strong following as his legion of fans post galleries of his work, copy his art on to various pieces of clothing and brand themselves as fans by getting his artwork tattooed onto their bodies. You can see some of Kurt's work on his own website but upon further research the best place to view his work is in his personal photobucket where you can browse through various categories of his work and if you are inclined to make a purchase you can head on over to his site for links to various online dealers.
