Released in October of 2007, the Legends of Rap trading card deck illustrates the early days of Hip Hop while celebrating the pioneers of the genre. The set consists of "32 heavy quality, full colour illustrated cards with biographical stories and discographical data of the artists who defined  the styles  that are the origin of todays worldwide hip hop movement". The illustrations by Tobias Krafcyk are sic and the set includes names like Run DMC and Grand Master Flash. I found the link on QBN.

I am hoping to pick up a set for the studio when I go to Paris in just over a month. You can buy them from Colette in Paris, the French version of Urban Outfitters here in North America.
